Farewill. Brand refresh for the UK’s No.1 will writing service

From 2019 onwards I created a brand refresh for Farewill. It rolled out across their services from Wills to funerals and probate. Including 2 TV ad’s produced by Animade. The new branding aimed to make funeral planning less intimidating and promote the idea that wills can be created online.
With 30 million adults in the UK lacking a will and only 5% of related services available online, this was a significant opportunity for change. We needed to reshape perceptions of death and create a more accessible brand.
In terms of style, I wanted the illustrations to be versatile enough to convey complex stories, but I also wanted them to demonstrate the simplicity of the service Farewill offers. Death is such a difficult subject for a lot of people to think about, but broaching the subject through character somehow made it feel softer and more friendly.
